I am a SWM, 53 going on 30, living in Danbury, CT. I have my own business, home and dog, and we are looking for someone special. I have a background that includes private industry, retail, law enforcement, sales of printing and business forms, and now computer consulting. I do my own house repairs for the most part, and repair my vehicles myself as well. (Hint.... handy) I like the usual stuff, and play piano, organ and guitar, as well as sing... but keep in mind that I have a wacky sense of humor, so the words often change on the spot!! My Dog is a Black Golden Retriever.... she's 4 1/2, and thinks she runs the house.... well..... she has her own couch.

Velvet, also known as Vel-brat, P.I.T.A., and other terms of endearment, is a pudgy, overweight and out of shape example of a Black Golden Retriever... She is looking for someone who will take her and her master on walks to both slim her down, and build up her endurance. Velvet thinks that anything with 2 hands should be petting her, and non-humans are to be played with.... and if you have 4 paws... that is a plus. Velvet has never met a meal she didn't like, and promises to be friendly and playful with you and your master. She does not jump on laps, but she does like her ears scratched. Velvet is allowed on the furniture, and often sleeps on the bed (and takes more than her share of the space) She does NOT however take things that are not hers, so food is safe, even on the coffee table. Velvet is however, stubborn, and doesn't come when she is called.... this is ENTIRELY her master's fault. Velvet is just another way of spelling LOVE.

My dad is the BEST. He takes good care of me, and pays attention to my needs. (I wish he would take me for more walks, so I could get in better shape, but he doesn't like to do things alone... and that means a human companion... sniff, sniff, ) Dad always keeps my water dish full, feeds me regularly, and plays with me sometimes.... (I have a secret wish that he would play with me more, and maybe even find someone with a dog so that BOTH of us could have some companionship). Dad works on computers, so I have him at home most of the time.... He brushes me, and bathes me himself... I don't like my face washed, and he insists on that! Yecccccch ! We dont' go for nearly enough rides in the car.

Yikes! this is a tough one. Well, my date should be perfect... at least for me. As for appearance, I am attracted to most body types, and it is a face that I find pretty and/or attractive that does it for me... don't be shy if you don't think YOU are perfect, because I'm not either. I am an old-fashioned guy with good morals, and I am a regular Church attender and member of a Church in Bethel, CT. I have a strong sense of right and wrong, and I hope you will as well. (of course I never take anything I'm not supposed to.... and what dad doesn't know won't hurt him... tee hee) Let's go for walks, paw in paw. Let's drag our respective masters around the park... I'm good at ignoring dad when he calls me, and I'll teach you how to get what you want from your mom, just let's have fun, fun, FUN !!!
