I'm a veterinarian tht just relocated back to the south FL area where I grew up. I really enjoy working with the parents of our furkids (or scaly/feathered ones). As someone once told me, we are the only profession who can freely hug our patients and not get sued! I currently all my pets living with me. My two most absolute favorite purebred dogs are a Pembroke Welsh Corgi & a Bernese Mountain Dog; but mixed ones are just as good too!

Gremlin is a 4 year old DSH brown tabby. I rescued her from being euthanized when she was 8 weeks old b/c she had ringworm. She was left at the vet clinic I worked at and she was just so darn cute! She can be quite shy at first and if she really likes a person she'll forget all about shyness.

Guida, my green iguana, is about 14 years old and is almost 6 feet long. Again, I rescued her from someone who was going to get rid of her and didn't know how to care for reptiles. She lives in sunny Miami, FL.

Charlie is my best buddy! He's a retired blood donor for a veterinary hospital (he's saved numerous lives!). Seriously, he's like the smartest dog in the world and adorable as well! He's a true ladies man. He's moved in with me and Gremlin! I've been waiting for him to come home for 3 years!

From the desk of Gremlin: He's so loving! I often times get so tired of the amount of attention and playtime I get with my dad but at least I know I'm loved! My favorite activity is waking him up early on weekends so I can get fed or look out the window to stare at the pigeons! Dad treats me right :)

"Wait, let me get my 2 cents in," says Charlie. "Ryan has taken care of me and my fellow donor buddies for the last 3 years. He made sure we got outside to play and meet new people. He even gave us all baths...all 12 of us (I'll forgive him for the baths b/c I know he meant well). He's the most genuinely caring guy I know and he kept his promise to me by bringing me home."

I've actually met someone and am focused on getting to know her better! I'm looking for someone who knows how to have fun, eats meat, shares common interests, a GREAT sense of humor, and is understanding of the short time I have left in school. Once I'm out, it'll all be worth it! Right now, I love to get away on the weekends or just get to a football game. During longer breaks, I find my way to Chicago for some tourist activities or maybe even back home to Miami, FL. I'm looking for an honest, open-minded, and intelligent woman that is willing to try new things and at times has a wild side to her (can you be spontaneous?). I appreciate truthful blunt honesty whether it's good or bad b/c I have been bothered by people lying to me b/c they felt the truth would hurt too much. Zorro

Zorro was my adopted pet of the family. He was a stocky little tomcat who we found on the street and his tail was in the shape of a "Z" so we suspected it got slammed in a door. He was very social with me in his last few weeks and he died from diabetes (we didn't know cats could be diabetic at the time). His death, coupled with our veterinarian, are what made me want to be a veterinarian. I love this little guy.
