I am a scuba diver and have my own business in the safety and environmental protection fields. I like to do many things, but am most interested in doing things with the right special person. I do believe in soul mates, and would like to find mine -- but I also believe two reasonably compatable people can become soulmates.

I currently have one sheltie [2 years old] but am considering getting another. Two years ago, one of my shelties was stolen directly from my yard. It was bad for me, but worse for my older sheltie, who stopped eating and would search for his suddenly missing friend. I got my current dog as a 'friend' for the older dog, who in fact passed about 10 months later, but he had reached 15 at the time. Although I enjoy my 'pups' a slight problem is the 1 or two extended trips I take each year. I was on Komodo Island about a year ago, South Korea and India this past July and will be in Antarctica in January
