my name is derek and i live on the west side of cleveland with my dog jose. i've become know as "that guy with jose" in my neighborhood. jose is the pimp of the nation. i'm a self employed artist working mainly in the music industry (record companies, bands, venues, etc). I've launched a clothing company that caters to that culture. On my fine art side I'm basically a mixed media drawing/painter and print maker. i travel with my art exhibit when it's on the road. i'm also on the board of directors of place a pet foundation. place a pet is a non profit, no kill animal shelter on cleveland's west side.

jose is a 7 year old pomerainian. jose stinks, he has halitosis. he tends to go just about everywhere with me, being self employed i have that luxury. jose is really an awesome dog, he came from a pound in columbus and was given to me when he was a year old. he rides my shoulders in my car, and doesn't need a leash.

derek is a good daddy, i roll with him. we go to a lot of fun places, the beach, coffee shops, record stores, other cites on road trips, etc. i get to go to the shelter where he's involved with too and hang with the other dogs. there's this cat, lucy, she's hot, she's a bengal cat and lives at derek's studio with his buisness partner, she's my girl friend. her parents wouldn't approve of our relationship so we keep it on the down low.

I don't want to come off as too demanding, as a lot of these kinds of description do, these are just some things that come to mind.....I'd like to meet an animal lover, obviously. Someone who is level headed, laid back, non-smoker, non-republican, healthy, height weight proportionate. Because of my work i go to a lot of rock shows and art functions, so i'd be interested in someone who would like to not be on the go all the time, going out is fine, but staying in is good too....... i don't know what else, suprise me. - I don't drink , but someone who drinks is not a problem, unless it's a problem.
