Okay, quick update - I am in Seattle now... I have a psychology degree, am now working in television research (go figure), lived in LA and then NY, love watching movies and television, listening to good music (New York and British bands lately), I am a big sports fan (hockey, baseball, football, basketball), I love animals (the aforementioned cat among others), I am a big liberal, I am nice but shy, pretty quiet (but that makes me thoughtful, right?), laid-back, mellow, calm, sometimes grumpy, and I love all types of food but have an irrational hatred of mushrooms. And I just had serious separation anxiety when I left my cat here for a week while I went home for Thanksgiving. Luckily she has forgiven me.

Picabu and I are best buds. It's just the two of us. Her next birthday is the big 1-0. I first got her with my parents when she was about three months old. My old cat had just died the day before, and I was very upset that they were going to get another one so quickly, but we were at a shelter and someone brought in a litter of kittens, and I picked her out, cause I knew she would be cool. And I had always wanted a black cat. My parents also got a puppy while we were there too, so it was a fun ride home. Anyway, Picabu is pretty much afraid of everyone in the world except me, but with me she is very affectionate. And she likes to talk (and just so you know I am not crazy, all she says is "meow"). She is a small little thing - no more than 7 pounds. But she can eat as much turkey as anyone I know.

Preferably someone highly intelligent - I'd rather be the stupid one cause less work that way. Someone very nice and nurturing, laid-back, good sense of humor, politically aware, located close to me (I'm lazy), cute both in appearance and personality, outgoing (since I'm shy and two shy people make for a very boring time), someone without an obsessive ex-boyfriend, someone I can trust and feel comfortable around, and someone weird enough to put up with all my issues. And if you like british bands and/or going to hockey games, you rock.
