I am a cat-lover with 5 of them who keep me on my toes most of the time. I figure I'm still single because I just have not yet been fortunate enough to find that special person and soul mate. I don't believe that opposites attract. From my observation, they should have lots in common or they usually end up divorced. I have never been married and have no children. I am a dynamic, secure and active person. I have been told that I'm well-spoken and have a good sense of humour. I am caring, compassionate and loyal. I like to tell it like I see it. I am quite young-looking for my age which has advantages for the most part. I like to hang out at home and watch a good sports game (the NFL in particular) or enjoy a good night out at a restaurant, club, bar or social event. I enjoy travelling to warm countries with beaches during the winter but it has been several years since I have travelled. I have trouble finding time during the week to surf the net & exchange emails but I'm working on it. Life is passing me by and I still haven't found that special person.

Will is a big, friendly, curious, quintessential, gray tabby. He is quite talkative, very cuddly and will always let you know how he feels about the situation. He basically runs the household and keeps an eye on the girls but doesn't get too involved in anything. He'd rather sit around, groom them and watch the action from the sidelines. The girls like to wake him up from a deep sleep to play or be groomed and he usually obliges them. Grace is a small, mischievous, cute, brown tabby with big ears and a tiny nose. She will always be the first to explore and find trouble and is very brave for her size. She will follow you around looking for action and gets really frisky sometimes. She loves playing fetch with the plastic spring. Karen is a sweet, timid, pure white shorthair (kinda Oriental-looking). She may be the last cat on the scene when there's action but she is always the first in line for a tummy rub. She is becoming braver & more affectionate every day. Britney is a cute, shy, trouble-making calico who likes to play with everything. She will play fetch with the crinkle ball for hours. She enjoys tummy rubs and back rubs and usually sleeps with Will or Grace. Cricket is my youngest cat and is a playful, aggressive black DSH who always seems to find trouble. She was a sympathy adoption after I discovered that most people won't adopt black cats so many are euthanized. She will jump up to your chest when prompted then wrap herself around your neck and purr endlessly... strange but true! She will also jump the other cats without warning which doesn't go over well with Will and Karen who would rather be left alone.

Dave is an awesome cat parent. He buys us great toys and gives us lots of attention. He picks us up and hugs us every day when he gets home from work. He lets us chase the remote-controlled mouse and laser pointer around the house most nights. Dave gives us lots of exercise when we chase the string on the yardstick up and down the stairs and across the living room. He throws us balls and springs so we can play fetch. I wish he would find a nice girlfriend who loves cats and wants to play with us.

ideal date: attractive, well-spoken, fun, dependable, honest, secure caring woman who enjoys good conversation, fun times & the potential for a loving, long-term relationship. prefer: fellow cat-lover who ocasionally enjoys watching sports, talking about politics, listening to music or watching the occasional reality show (ie: Survivor, Idol). It would be a bonus if you jogged, played golf or tennis or all three. I think it's great to share common interests... especially if it keeps you active and healthy. My ideal date would not be religious either. It seems to get in the way of life and gives people a false hope that a higher power is watching out for them.

We don't really need dates since there are already five of us but other friendly, indoor cats are welcome to play with us. With the exception of Karen, we get along really well with other cats.

Grace (Kitten)

Grace #1 was a sweet little brown tabby who died of respiratory illness as a kitten. She was one of the cutest kittens I have ever seen and I've seen quite a few. I can't believe how attached you can become to a kitten in a short period of time. She is sadly missed.

Sandy was a playful, loving, adorable cocker spaniel who lived a happy life. She was always there to greet me and ready to play at all hours of the day. She is sadly missed.

Teddy was adopted in 1973, the year my younger brother Mike was born. What a thrill to get a little puppy and a little brother at the same time. I grew up with Teddy and he is sadly missed.
