I'm a native of Cullman, Alabama with three degrees from the Univ. of Alabama at Birmingham, and a physician board-certified in Family Practice. I've been an active member of the choir at Independent Presbyterian Church for the last 25 years. I live in a beautiful new home, which I personally designed and had custom-built, in Liberty Park; in the summer I have a vegetable garden. I have no children except for two female dogs, Josie and Jessie; and two male kitties, Boo Boo and Little Booger (all four of which I rescued).

All four were rescued. Josie and Jessie are the dogs, both female, both spayed, mixed breeds. Josie weighs 35 lbs. and Jessie, who is half black lab, weighs 55 lbs. Little Booger is a male kitty weighing 11 lbs and is solid black with short hair. Boo Boo is the sweetest little black kitty and weighs 8 lbs.

Basically, I love all animals and they seem to natually love me too. I've always felt that I had the ability to communicate with them. My dogs are so sweet, they get excited any time they can make a new friend. My cats also like to "check out" each visitor at the front door to be sure they are a "cat person"! If they're not, they will disappear until they're gone!
