I haven't been online in quite some time. I diverted myself to focus my time and energy on my family. I haven't even thought about dating for what seems to be ages. I haven't even been intimate with anyone since my divorce in 2003. I was bitter and had a bad outlook on relationships. I'm honest, sincere, caring and compassionate. My friends say that I am loyal, trustworthy, a good friend to come to when they need someone to talk to or to be cheered up. I like to laugh and have a good time, long scenic drives through the mountains or walking and sitting at the beach. Too many interests to name. I'm not afraid to show my sensitive side. Especially when I watch Extreme makeover home edition. I get choked up and tear up every time I watch it! I'm quite rusty and new to the dating scene. I was married for 12 years and been since 2003. It is so hard to meet people now a days. I don't drink so I don't go to clubs. I hate the bar scene. So, I thought I would give this a try! I believe in treating a woman like a lady. Opening her door for her, helping with her coat or chair. I love all animals! As a child I spent most of my time exploring the woods. Watching all the different types of animals scurry around. From chipmunks to raccoons to deer. I always had a habit of bringing some kind of pet home and my mother would freak! I have had pets all my life. I am laid back and I love life. Each dawn brings a whole new day so I try not to worry about the past but live for today and look forward to the future. I'm not a paying member yet so I am not sure how we can get a hold of one another other than my username is the same no matter where you go.

I spend 90% of my time with my little long haired Chihuahua named Gizmo. I take him everywhere with me. The grocery store, Walmart, the doctors. Where ever I go he is with me. He has flown with me twice round trip and he was so quiet no one even knew he was there. When I am driving he curls up on my lap and goes to sleep. I love him like a child and he means the world to me. He is the most lovable, friendly, adorable little guy! He loves laying on his back in my lap and having his belly rubbed. He follows me all around the house and has to be with me all the time! If I am sitting in a chair he jumps up and lays in my lap. When I go to bed, He crawls under the covers and either lays up against my stomach or up against the back of my legs. He loves attention and when ever anyone comes over, the first thing he does is runs and grabs a toy and brings it to them wanting them to play with him. He always brings a smile to my face no matter what! He was such great emotional support to me after my marriage of 12 years ended two years ago. He really pulled me through a tough time. I can't imagine not having him in my life. It may sound funny. But, I am a better person because of him.

My daddy loves me so much! He spoils me rotten and takes me everywhere! All I have to do is tilt my head a little and give him that look! Shhhh! Don't tell him my secret. I'm just toooo cute for him to resist!

first and foremost, Honesty, loyalty and sincerity are the most important to me. I like a woman who likes to laugh and can make me laugh. Even at ourselves! Compassionate towards others and doesn't judge them. What attracts me to a woman is her eyes! Your eyes show your sincerity and are truly a path to the soul. It is hard to describe your ideal date or perfect relationship! What you think you are looking for can change in a instant when your eyes meet and you get lost in them. I really don't think it matters where or what you do as long as both of us are having a nice time together and relaxed. That way you feel more open and able to see and learn about the real you! So many people feel they need to impress another so they put on this polite prim and proper act. Just be yourself! That is the most important quality a person can have! A relationship is not 50% - 50% it is both people giving 110%, communicate and talk about things and not let them fester and build up. I like to go out and dance just as much as curling up on the couch together watching a movie or listening to music. It is who you are with and not what your doing that should matter!
