I was born and raised in England, but spent most of my adult life in the USA. Started on the West coast, in Los Angeles, and over the years have been moving Eastwards, and currently am in New Jersey. My time until now isnt so important. For the last several years my life has been in a holding pattern, spending my time getting key pieces of my future all lined up and ready to go. This is the year that, hopefully, the last missing piece is found. I have goals in life, big goals. I dream of and will do things in life that many would not even imagine. If you have the imagination and determination, then anything is possible. Hard work is important, but creativity is just as important to achieve those special things. I dream big, but the little things in life can be just as rewarding. Most of all, more than all the material things or amazing places, is having a special person to share the wonders of life.

Many of my animals were sick, homeless or unwanted when they came into my life. No matter what sacrificies I have to make, I never turn away any animal that needs my help. I dont go looking for these things, they just always seem to find my doorstep. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by having so many to care for by myself, but their love and companionship more than make up for it.

Many of my animals see me as their daddy and love me unconditionally. They are always taking my attention for a scratch or playtime. Cats being cats, some just see me as an easy meal ticket. They eat, they sleep, and contribute little. There are a few that becasue of their origins, have not yet gotten over their fear of humans. It takes time and patience but they are coming around.

Non-smoking, animal lover, and intelligent. These things are a must. Beyond that, I just want someone I can have a decent conversation with. An advetnturous spirit and a desire to travel to far away places is definitely a plus. Someone who will take the time to truly get to know me, and to become a part of something wonderful. Buffy

Buffy came from an animal shelter. She had an allergic reaction to fleas which made her lose much of her hair and become covered in scabs so her previous owners dumped her at the shelter. I took her in, and she grew to be a beautiful cat. Buffy was hit and killed by a car shortly after moving to our new address which I thought would be move safe than where we were previous. I was wrong.

Pretty Girl

Pretty Girl was found in my yard in a horrific condition. Barely four pounds, just half the weight she should have been. She had open abcesses over her abdomen and massive dental decay and subsequently found to be FELV+. The first vet I took her to wanted to just kill her. The second vet was willing to work with me to do the best possible for the cat. Over the next few weeks, her sores cleaned up, the dental problems were treated and following a blood transfusion, her CBC came back into the normal range. Her weight got back up to 9 pounds, and against all the odds, she was making an excellent recovery. Then one day I thought she might enjoy some fresh air and took her out on the balcony. She panicked, jumped off the balcony and took off into the woods, never to be seen again. Her medical condition was such that without continuing treatment, her time was short.

Fluffitt

Fluffitt was caught when he was a feral kitten. So wild as a youngster, he grew up to be an extremely gentle cat. His long hair would sometimes get so knotted I would have to shave him. He fell victim to FIP when he was just six years of age.
