People keep telling me I'm really nice. It's a good thing I guess. Moved to NYC from TX in 2004. I enjoy meeting new people and trying new things. My friends and family are important to me (w/o them where would anyone be). I'll try just about anyone once. I'm a night owl and usually find myself in the kitchen at midnight on a Monday night baking something. I don't take life too seriosly and I deal with situations as they arise. Believe in learning from the past to help mold my future and I have recently come to the belief that every person that comes into your life has a specific person, whether you realize that person and their reason or not (topic for late night discussion).

Duke is a true street rescue dog. He was found in East Austin (not a good place to be) in the middle of the street about to be run over by a bus. He was aprox. 3 months old and had already started out with a rough life. Mange, fleas, ticks, who knows what else where the only friends he had. Those times are long behind him, but never forgotten as he has a nice scar on his right hip from a concrete burn he most likely got from being kicked around (I assume by a man b/c he is standoffish towards men when he first meets them... completely opposite w/ women for some reason. not a line and I didn't teach him that.) Duke is far and away my best friend and he is always there when I really need him. He is the post boy for the phrase "Dogs are mans' best friend"

My dad found me in the hood of Austin. I stayed with him for a short time, then moved to Dallas to live with Grandpa and Grandma for a couple years. I was happy to move back in with dad. He's a great guy. Takes me out whenever I get in his face (my sign to go out). We have a great relationship. We know what each other is thinking just by looking at each other. And yes, he taught me how to type...

Tell me your secrets and ask me questions about mine. Trusting, loyal, honest, caring, positive, and compassionate are traits I look highly on; especially trust. I like girls that wear smiles as much as possible. You like to look good. You can also pull off getting ready in 10 min to meet my friend that just came in town at 3 am (not that this ever happens.. but IF it did, you wouldn't stay hidden). I like fun people. Don't be a downer. It's fine if you don't like sports (participating or watching), but understand that college football happens every Saturday in the fall and more often during the holidays. Be open to learn new things and not closed minded when you find your way might not be the best way (chances are it'll be the other way around and my way will be wrong... but that's neither here nor there). Call me out when I'm wrong, taunt, gloat, and all that, then give me a hug just because. Teach me something new..

I love little dogs and I'm very tollerant of puppies. Can hang with the big dogs, too... Very open here.
