I love riding my motorcycle - therapy with a throttle. I have been riding a Harley all my life; I am into cruising, not racing. On the weekends if not riding I am probably either out on the lake in my boat or cruising around in my Corvette (I recently bought a classic 25th Anniversary edition). I don't mean to come across a materialistic, because I am not, I just like my toys! I was a vegetarian for a long time, about 15 years and finally became Vegan in January 2004. The more I read and was exposed to, I could no longer justify eating dairy and eggs. The transition really wasn’t that difficult and I feel more at peace now. I like to cook when I have time, so I am either making something out of a vegan cookbooks or modifying a recipe to make it vegan. I work in Boston so I usually do bulk cooking on the weekend so it is easier during the week. I am just as comfortable overhauling a motorcycle in the garage as I am stir frying tofu kitchen. I also love animals, I have a German Shepard and a kitten (yes, they get along!). They are like therapy with fur. Even though I work in corporate America, I like the outdoors, hiking, mountain bike riding, rollerblading, etc. and enjoy spending time at a lake or the beach. I like to read and listen to good music like John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Morrissey, John Mellencamp, Keb’ Mo’, Sarah McLachlan and many, many others (my musical taste is all over the map). I also like just hanging out at home with the right person, making a meal together and enjoying a glass of wine and each other. My friends tell me that I am a very compassionate and caring man. I also love animals, I have a German Shepard and a kitten (yes, they get along!). They are like therapy with fur. No matter what is going on in my life, good day bad day, they are always happy to see me. I heard a quote once that was something like, "the more people I met the more I love my dog" – ever have days where you feel like that? One thing I find unusual about this website is the lack of vegetarians. I’m not sure how one could take the time to write a loving description on their pet and then sit down to eat another animal. I’m not trying to be judgmental I just find that to be a little strange. I had a white German Shepard for eight years but he died of cancer in December 2004. I was not going to get another dog initially, but the longer I lived without my dog the more I missed him.

I would like to find someone who is also vegan, or at least willing to consider it, and if we are compatible, a long term relationship. I would also like to meet someone who enjoys the outdoors. Someone who is mature enough to know that happiness is not in things. I truly believe that happiness in life comes from the relationships we develop and the people we choose to associate with. If you feel the same way then I really wouldn't care if we went to a five-star restaurant or had a cookout on the beach together.
