G-Spot Facts and Myths

Struggling to locate your G-spot? It’s high time that you stop chasing the mirage and concentrate on having a healthy sex life with your partner.

There are millions of women for whom the quest for the mysterious G-spot orgasms has never ended. Women yearn for this form of orgasm in spite of experiencing perfect clitoral orgasms.

It’s true that vaginal orgasms are usually more intense than orgasms achieved through clitoral stimulation; however, the orgasms experienced by the majority of the women are clitoral in nature.

While there’s nothing wrong in having orgasms only through clitoral stimulation, the myths associated with the G-spot results in inferiority complex and reduced sexual self-esteem in women who fail to achieve the much talked about G-spot orgasm. The funniest thing here is that researchers are still not confident about the existence of the G-spot.

G-spot or Grafenberg spot got its name from the German physician Dr. Ernst Grafenberg, who first talked about this erotic zone within the vagina, close to the urethra way back in the 1950s. More than 60 years have passed since the suggestion was made by the German doctor, but there’s still no clear evidence of G-spot’s existence, which has forced many to believe that it’s just a myth.

A recent study published in the medical journal Clinical Anatomy seems to have finally busted the myth surrounding the G-spot. According to the study, the notion of dividing orgasms into G-spot-stimulated, vaginal and clitoral is absolutely wrong. Researchers involved in the study said that the only term that one should use for all types of orgasms experienced by women is “female orgasm”.

During the said study, sexologists came to know that “internal clitoris”, which to date was believed to trigger vaginal orgasms, is just a myth. Clitoris is an external organ and plays a vital role in providing women immense pleasure through orgasm; that’s it.

You must have heard people saying that brain is the biggest sex organ humans have. This new study is also suggesting something similar. According to the study, female orgasms are usually mental.

The scientists found that for women sexual satisfaction is almost always based on vaginal orgasm. This is good; but women have to understand that as a result of having more complicated bodies, they cannot have orgasms so easily as men. Moreover, they should never feel inferior just because they are failing to achieve orgasm just through penetration.

Yes, you’ll meet women who will say that they keep on experiencing orgasms after their G-spot gets hit a few times. They might not be lying; however, experts believe what women perceive as G-spot stimulation is basically the external stimulation they undergo unwittingly.

You must be wondering why you don’t feel the same. Now, that’s a pertinent questions; the most logical explanation would probably be different bodies react differently to a particular stimulus.

There might be a more scientific explanation, but why make things more complex. The more you’ll think the lower will be your satisfaction quotient; so, just relax and enjoy sex.
